Delightex startup tries to simplify the complex in Virtual reality
CoSpaces, lets users to drag and drop pre-designed environments, figures and objects from a library. Users can choose a background environment, add more figures, change their colors, sizes and positions.
CoSpaces platform is mainly designed for teachers who want to explore the potential of virtual reality with their students. By using simple tools, teachers can design different objects on their computers, add their own images and then present these designs to students via cardboards.
This process can also be used to encourage students to come up with their own ideas.
Here are some examples to check out:
“In my reading class, students build their own virtual reality worlds based on their understanding of a given text”, says Sunghan Park, a Korean teacher who uses CoSpaces in his English lessons.
For teachers the process of building is more important than the possibility to explore the creations in VR with a headset. This is something that makes it more exciting for the students.
CoSpaces is a web based application, but additionally it offers a mobile app for Android and iOS. Munich and St. Petersburg based startup Delightex informs that support for Oculus, Gear VR and HTC Vive is on its way.
