HTC launches $100 million VR startup accelerator program called Vive X

Vive X: Imagination to Reality

Imagine having a great idea in Virtual Reality or already having one. For many the ability to know where to go to get funding or to make the next steps is often a daunting one. How about Vive X?

Look no further. Originally announced at an HTC conference in Beijing, they have earmarked $100 million for an accelerator program to help startups in Virtual Reality. Their aim is to cultivate young VR startups to help them grow and reach their full potential.

The HTC program is called Vive X and aims to provide mentorship, education and investment. They also plan to provide temporary office space and even hosting meeting days for the startups to meet potential investors.

They have announced initial plans to run the program in Beijing, Taipei, Shenzen and San Francisco. Interested companies can click here to apply. The program is slated to launch in November 2016.

So have you you got a great idea or one in development but need the funds to get it off the ground? What are you waiting for?
